Middle School
Grades 6-8th
This program is focused on player development and game knowledge. The program will emphasize skills and drills, alongside intersquad scrimmages. It will consist of 8 sessions held across 5 weeks.
- Target Audience: Players with 0-3 years of experience who understand basic rules and can control the ball while moving.
- Focus: Refining individual skills, introducing spatial awareness, and developing structural team play.
- Technical Goals: Driving (slap and sweep shots), elimination skills (pull-backs, simple dodges), receiving on the move, and defensive tackles.
- Coaching Style: Structured and fun drills transitioning into small-field and big-field gameplay.
